Dr. Shakiba was the first surgeon to address my nerve pain caused by endometriosis. I was told by staff at Hackensack that people come from out of state just to have him operate on them. I feel very lucky to have found him. I just completed surgery with him, and I am looking forward to brighter days and feeling better.

I was very pleased with my first office consultation with Dr. Shakiba. As a patient with a long history of pelvic pain, painful and heavy menstrual cramps, leg cramping, and lower back pain—among other ailments—none of my previous medical providers or specialists had been able to provide me with a thorough evaluation or diagnosis. Dr. Shakiba took his time to ask questions, perform a detailed examination, and was able to provide a diagnosis and recommend solutions during the same visit.
